Imari Essigkrug, um 1700/ Imari jug for vinegar, around 1700 H. 12,5 cm. Bauchige Kanne mit einer schmalen runden Einfüllöffnung über der geschlossenen Kanne. Dickwandiges Porzellan, weiße Glasur mit Grünstich auf weißem Scherben. Dekor in Imari-Stil mit Unterglasurblau, Eisenrot und Gold. Sehr feiner Dekor vorne mit einem Chrysanthemen- und hinten mit Kamelienstrauch, die Blüten teils in Relief. Unter dem Strauch Gelehrte, der die Blumen bewundert. Am Bauch unten weitmaschige Sprüngelung der Glasur. Gold teils berieben, Henkel mehrfach beschädigt und restauriert, Chips am Tülle, Einfüllöffnung gekürzt, Kleberspuren auf Lippen. Bulbous pot with a small round filling hole on the top. Thick-walled porcelain, white glaze with green tint on white body. Decorated in Imari style with underglaze blue, iron red and gold. Very fine decorative front with a chrysanthemum and camellia tree, the flowers mostly in relief. Standing under the flowers a small scholar who admired the flowers. Gold partly rubbed, handle damaged and restored, the filling opening originally longer and with glue marks on lips. For this object, see L.
