Cast in bronze via the lost wax technique, a double-spouted oil lamp featuring a handle in the form of a duck's head soldered to the body. Turned conical base and twin, slightly flared wick spouts. The rounded lamp body has a tiered raised tondo with large central fill hole. The duck head is probably authentic but the neck has been replaced by modern addiction. 12 cm. length, 10 cm. height PROVENANCE European private collection since 1990s. Previously in an old German collection before 1980s.
