Parisian Interior, quai Voltaire, circa 1865 Large albumen print, 367x274 mm, stamped "Photographie des Trois Empereurs" on the mount, old retouching in ink. Unusual and enigmatic photograph of an interior lit by numerous windows, which could be family Durieu's apartment on Quai Voltaire, in the same building as Count Vigier and Trémaux. Durieu is the son of famous Eugene Durieu, and adopted his mother's name after his father went to jail.
