Amsterdam [Jan Goeree] 1730 Sm. folio: 3 engr. titles, 367 circular engr. plates, 7,4 x 7,4 cm (sl. spotting throughout not invading the pls, large tear "9-10 augustus" repaired, front flylvs loosening). Cont. half calf, spine on 5 raised bands, black leather title label, sp. edges (rubbed, joints split, front cover loosening, corners bumped, head & tail def.). Good well-preserved copy. Very nice suite of Saint's portraits (for each day of the year) by the Dutch engraver and publisher Jan Goeree (1670-1731), after the French edition by Gautrel (Paris 1689) with plates by Le Clerc, Lepautre and Dolivar.
