The cup is finely decorated to one side with blossoming orchid amongst rocks on a riverbank, the reverse with a poetic inscription relating to the flower and a seal mark reading 'shang'. The base with an apocryphal Kangxi mark.
Catalogue notes: the narcissus representative of the first month out of the set of twelve 'month' cups.
Condition: Appears to be in overall good condition, with light surface scratches.
