The vase is decorated to the body and neck with birds and butterflies amongst flowers and flowering trees, with a cloud scroll band to the rim, the neck, and the foot. The base with an underglaze blue double circle.
Condition: A long curved crack from the rim with associated restoration and overpainting (approx. 17 cm. long).
Some glaze crackle to the base.
Origin: China
Period: Kangxi period (1662-1722)
