A pair of Chinese blue and white 'landscape' klapmuts... Lot n° 45

The bowls are each decorated with a figure in a boat amongst pavilions in a mountainous river landscape, all below leafy bamboo stalks to the rim. Each interior is decorated with a roundel enclosing a pavilion and mountains, the everted flat rim is decorated with pine sprays. Each base is marked with a chop mark in underglaze blue. Condition: Both bowls: Small restorations to the rim. Burst glaze bubbles. Origin: China Period: 17th century Sizes: 7.70 cm. H x 15.50 cm. D 3.03 in. H x 6.1 in. D
