The circular vase is decorated with two circular handles to the shoulder and the body is moulded with a raised circular panel decorated with foaming waves, flanked by two dragons in flight. The edge is bordered with a further foaming wave band. The narrow sides and the neck are decorated with lotus scrolls. With a flat unglazed reverse. Condition: There are cracks and glaze crackles to one side of the front surface of the moonflask. A few further fine glaze crackles. There is an area to the reverse of a different texture, but is probably associated with manufacture. Origin: China Period: Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) Sizes: 31.00 cm. H x 27.00 cm. diameter 12.2 in.
