The group comprises a medium-sized bowl finely decorated to the centre with peaches and peonies in a basket, growing roots, the interior and exterior walls are decorated with shaped panels of precious objects and auspicious plants; four smaller bowls, two decorated with birds and flowers to the interior, one with a scholar in a fenced garden, one with auspicious objects; and two bowls decorated with a birds and flower roundel to the centre and the walls are left white with moulded ruyi-head decoration. The largest bowl: 21.5 cm. diameter Condition: Three small bowls: have a small hole drilled to the foot for hanging (max. approx. 0.3 cm diameter). All the bowls: with various cracks, frits and chips consistent with age. Origin: China Period: Wanli period (1573-1619) Sizes: 6.00 cm. H x 21.50 cm. diameter 2.36 in. H x 8.46 in. diameter
