The piece is carved in the round as a duck with its wings folded and head turned backwards holding a lotus spray, its stem carved in openwork leading to an upturned leaf supporting the duck. The stone is of a pale celadon tone with light russet tinges to on the leaf. Provenance: From the collection of Mr. J.E. Vaandrager. Condition: Appears to be in overall good condition, apart from small nicks to the extremities. Origin: China Period: 19th century Sizes: 4.00 cm. H x 4.50 cm. W 1.57 in. H x 1.77 in. W
