Waterfall Signed: Sawa (?) Sealed: unread Date: post-WWII Size: 154,5 x 49,7 cms (mounting) 60 x 36 cms (painting) 61 x 19 inch (mounting) 24 x 14 inch (painting) Technique: Pigments and powdered mica on silk Condition: Chûberi (middle part) of beige silk, off-white and gold suji (the strip around the painting). Top and bottom of light-beige silk brocade, ivory rollers. Titled, signed and sealed original wooden box. Some foxing on the back of the mounting, some of it barely visible in the top part of the mounting. Very good overall condition. Please note: this lot contains ivory and is therefore subject to the relevant trade restrictions in correspondence with CITES regulations. The import of ivory in to the United States has been banned.
