Wooden sewing box covered in dark blue velvet. Its lid is in mother-of-pearl and is finely engraved with flower garlands and birds. The box rests on four feet and presents golden chains. It presents 4 silver-gilt tools : 1 thimble, 1 ribbon threader, 1 scissors incrusted with pearls and 1 stiletto with a mother-of-pearl handle. H: 8cm, L: 14cm, W: 8.5cm. France, +-1850.
