Empire ottoman, XIXe siècle Document calligraphié en "diwani" de 10 lignes d'écriture surmonté de la tughra du Sultan ottoman. Encadré sous verre, dim. à vue : 81x28 cm. Il s'agit de la nomination d'un certain Ibrahim au poste de muezzin dans la mosquée Yusuf Aga à Rumeli Hisar, le salaire devant être payé par le trésor du waqf, en date du 22 Jumada I 1290 (18 juillet 1873). -- An ottoman firman, Istanbul, dated 1290AH/1873AD, under Sultan Abdulaziz reign, about the appointment of a certain Ibrahim to the position of Muezzin in the Yusuf Aga Mosque in Rumeli Hisar, the salary to be paid from the waqf treasury, dated 22 Jumada I 1290 (18 July 1873).
