RARE PETITE TABLE EN LAQUE ROUGE SCULPTÉE Époque Jiaqing (1796-1820) A RARE SMALL CARVED CINNABAR LACQUER DISPLAY STAND Jiaqing (1796-1820) Of rectangular shape, raised on four shaped legs terminating in floral scroll feet, the flat top intricately carved with a large shaped medallion tied on four sides and issuing small lotus buds, enclosing with a central lotus flower issuing fine leafy tendrils, surrounded by leafy scrolls issuing from four lotus flowers in each corner of the table top, all on a dense diaper ground, the sides similarly carved with a floral frieze continuing into the legs, the underside lacquered black. 38cm (15in) wide x 15.5cm (6 1/8in) deep x 16cm (6 1/4in) high.
