Groupe d'un retable en noyer sculpté représentant la Descente de Croix Brabant, probablement Bruxelles, vers 1480-1500 Reposant sur une base rectangulaire entièrement sculptée; le revers portant le reste d'une étiquette en papier avec le numéro 1451?, une inscription à l'encre noire et une inscription peinte en blanc 83/ E. V OVERBEKE Hauteur: 46 cm - Largeur: 34 cm Provenance : ancienne collection E. Van Overbeke, Bruxelles puis par descendance familiale, conservé dans un château de Sologne. Expert : Isabelle d'Amecourt. A carved wood group depicting the Descent from the Cross, Brabant, probably Brussels, circa 1480-1500 Condition report General very minor chips, losses and scratches consistent with age and handling. Few shrinkage cracks mainly to the base. Old restorations to the base with two late wooden fragments. Traces of old polychrome decoration.Traces of old woodworm. Good condition overall.
