DEUX STATUETTES DE MUSICIENNES EN TERRE CUITE Dynastie Sui (589-618) TWO POTTERY FIGURES OF FEMALE MUSICIANS Sui Dynasty (589-618 AD) The slender figures similarly attired in long flowing robes falling in folds above their upturned slippers, one playing the sheng, the other a flute, the hair pulled up and bound in wide bun on top of the head, some with traces of red and white pigments. 26.5cm (10 7/16) high.
