STATUETTE DE CHEVAL CAPARAÇONNÉ EN TERRE CUITE Dynastie des Wei du Nord (386-535) A PAINTED POTTERY MODEL OF A CAPARISONED HORSE Northern Wei Dynasty (386-535 AD) Finely modelled striding on a trapezoidal base, the head adorned with a tasselled cloth and a bridle, from which hang floral ornaments, the saddle covered with a long cloth draped at the ends above the flared mud guards. 23cm (9in) wide.
