Medical recipes. [Low Countries, probably Limburg 17th c.] 12mo (11 x 10 cm): [14] ff., on paper, in Dutch (1 f. loose, dampstained). Contemp. limp vellum wrappers with flap (stained, warping). F. [1]r Proverbs, i. a "Nae allen lijden volght verblijden"; ff. [2]r-end (continued inside lower cover). Sm. collection of medical recipes, i.a. "Preseruatijff pro peste", on gynecological issues, "om te stoppen de roode buick loop", "om azijn heel suijr te maken", "om calff fleijs [...] te disteleren voor eenen crancken mijnsse". With a few sm. pen drawings and a larger one (f. [12]r) "Instrument om allerhan(de) olÿe t dÿstileren" (distillation equipment).
