"Steercke tot Cruushoutem (?)". Before 1630 Drawing, 30,5 x 41,5 cm, pen and brown ink, laid paper with fleur-de-lys watermark (approx. Briquet 7080) (sl. browned, water stain). South-up oriented map of the lordship of Aaishove (Kruishoutem) when it was in the hands of the family Jauche de Mastaing before the current castle was built (ca. 1630), later owned by Willem-Jozef van der Meere, mayor of Oudenaarde. The previous water castle with chapel was destroyed during the Wars of Religion (2nd half 16th c.). With substantial ms. notes. Ref. C.
