Set of three Art Deco spray perfumers. Bohemia, Czechoslovakia, ca. 1940. Cut glass. Provenance: Spanish private collection, formed between 1970 and 1995. Measurements: 18 cm (greatest height). Set of three atomising perfume bottles from the Art Deco period in translucent Czech Bohemian glass in purple and amber colours, decorated with various carved decorations. Bohemian glass, known mainly as Bohemian crystal, is a glass produced in the regions of Bohemia and Silesia, now parts of the Czech Republic. It has a centuries-long history of being internationally recognised for its high quality, craftsmanship, beauty and often innovative designs. Hand-cut, engraved, blown and painted decorative glassware ranging from champagne flutes to huge candelabras, ornaments, figurines and other glassware are among the best-known Czech exports and are immensely popular, both among the local and foreign population.
