BAGUE AVEC PORTRAIT DE SÉRAPIS Art romain, IIIe - IVe siècle Or massif ; TD 58 ; 22 g Provenance Ancienne collection privée, Paris A roman massive gold ring with an engraved portrait of Serapis. With angular hoop made of volutes and acanthus motif, and broad shoulders. Surmounted by an hexagonal box set with a very high conical bezel, the flat surface engraved with a portrait of the god Serapis in profile towards left.
