A Torck 'Koersmodel', red metal beach race pedal car, 1957-1960, 58 x 51 x 108 cm A Torck 'Koersmodel', red metal beach race pedal car, with sidepipes, the Torck label on the nose of the car, the original label of the pedal car dealer 'Au paradis de l'enfant'. This racer type pedal car is especially produced by Torck in order to organise beach races at the Belgian coast. This type of car is produced in three different sizes (see lot 23). This is the smallest version. During summer, kids could participate in various races held at different coast cities. A poster (see lot 30 in this auction) showed all races where you could participate. The Grand prize, at the end of the season, was a Torck pedal car.
