An interessing percussion revolver Lot n° 49

dating: about 1855 provenance: Belgium, Rifled, octagonal barrel, with foresight and 50% of its original finishing, with mark 'U' under crown at the base. Smooth, six-shot cylinder, engraved with sailing ships and provided with marks 'U' under crown and that of the test bench of Liegi. Oval frame engraved with floral motifs, flat upper hammer and ring trigger. Wooden grip scales, one with cracking, engraved iron butt-plate. length 33 cm.
