Illuminated vellum leaf of a printed Book of Hours, depicting the Nativity. [Paris ca. 1500] 8vo: 1 f. (16 x 11 cm) (sl. wavy, a few spotting, handwritten foliation "35"). Surrounded by a three-quarter architectural border. The scene takes place in a landscape. Decorated with gold, red, blue, brown, green and pink colour, text alternating red and blue one-, two- and four-line initials enhanced with liquid gold. The text on verso is surrounded by a three-quarter border with biblical scenes.
