MAKARIOS III: (1913-1977) Greek-Cypriot Archbishop and Primate of the Church of Cyprus 1950-77, and first President of Cyprus 1960-77. Widely considered as the Father of the Nation, Makarios survived to four assassination attempts. Signed 4 x 7 photograph of Makarios III, the image showing the President of Cyprus in a semi-profile half length formal pose, wearing his Archbishop clothing.
