One of 50 Arabic numb. copies of the DE-LUXE EDITION (partly printed on handmade paper) with an ORIGINAL ETCHING by the German artist MAX SLEVOGT (1868-1932) as frontispiece & bound in FULL MOROCCO. With an ORIGINAL WATERCOLOUR by MAX SLEVOGT (ca. 14,5 x 10,5 cm.) on first blank leaf (handmade paper watermarked “Perfecta”) depicting Max Slevogt as a statue, monogrammed “M.S.” & dated “31” in lower right corner. ¶ Ex bibliotheca János Oscar Plesch (1878-1957, Hungarian physician). With a small circular library-ticket “Prof and Mrs P.H. Plesch Collections” mounted on upper paste-down. Binding partly rubbed/ worn along extremities, but else in good condition.
