Alfred Jorel, Boy with a dog, c. 1920, H. 19 cm (with base). Cold painted bronze, face made of carved ivory. Jacket inscribed on the back: BRONZE (embossed). Base signed: A. Jorel (incised). Black and grey marble base. This lot contains materials protected by the Washington conservation agreement such as ivory, rhino horn, rosewood etc. Many countries have changed their import / export laws regarding these materials in recent years.
