A rare Santos carved wooden Creche figure, Southern European, circa 1850, the well carved and shaped face with brown glass eyes, finely painted mouth and brows, painted short brown hair, torso and frame painted in original delicate blue, arms jointed at shoulders and elbows, 22” (56cm) tall.
