Rare small glazed china shoulder head doll with wooden body, German circa 1840, with finely painted features, moulded black hair-style, and on a wooden jointed body at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, with china lower arms and legs with painted red slippers, wearing a pink dress with striped skirt, lace and forget-me-nots, (condition: fine hairline to shoulder, right arm replaced, and right leg professional restored), 5 ½” (14cm) tall.
