The entrance with double staircase of a municipal building, with elegant figures, horses and a carriage. Ca. 1680-1750 Drawing, pen and brown ink, the verso rubbed in red chalk, 18,7 x 26,7 cm, laid paper, unsigned (traces of vertical folding, slight stain in left upper corner). Mounted on paper support and under passe-partout. An unidentified scene at a Dutch town hall or court of justice. The fashion of the figures points towards an artist working in the late 17th century.
