Colonial School. Mexico or Peru. 17th - 18th century "The Virgin Mary, Saint Dominic and Saint Francis." Oil on canvas. 162 x 97 cm. On both sides of the Virgin Mary are depicted some of the images of the Marian invocations which appear in the litany, the Psalms and in poetic texts of praise, which are in this case: the door, the rose, the spotless mirror, the sealed fountain, Jacob’s ladder, the lily, the palm leaf and the temple.
