"Saint Rosa of Lima". Carved, gilded, polychromed and estofado wooden sculpture. Colonial. 17th - 18th century. The saint is depicted as a young Peruvian maiden, who dedicated herself to a life of penance as a tertiary of the Dominican order. She wears a habit and a cloak with magnificent estofado decoration. She holds red roses in her hand. 60 x 22 x 14 cm.
