Account of books sold by P. Dumortier to "Madame... Lot 1064

Account of books sold by P. Dumortier to "Madame la Ve Empis" from 22 July 1793 till 22 Germinal an XIII [= 12 April 1805]. Lille Bifolium (ca. 33 x 20,5 cm), on paper, in French (some def. at head). In good condition. Detailed list of books (and other commodities) bought by the widow Empis from July 1793 to April 1805. Among the things acquired were fascicles of the "Encyclopédie", books by Voltaire, travel books, writing materials, and "1 flute garnie en argent". The account was settled by "Monsieur Salembier payant l’acquit [...]". The final item was "imprimé 180 catalogues sur papier timbré", perhaps the auction catalogue of the collection. Pierre-Antoine Dumortier was documented in Lille between 1768 and 1810.
