The Muse Erato fresco laid on canvas applied on wood, without frame 46 x 112 cm originally ovoid in shape PROVENANCE Palazzo Torlonia, Rome, until about 1900; bought by the Neapolitan merchant Francesco Tancredi and with him until 1902-1903; arrived in the collection of the Countess Amalia Canonica in the 1920s and by inheritance to the current owners.
