Of baluster form and painted in underglaze blue and overglaze iron-red and gold with floral designs in traditional Imari style, the neck with three reserves containing dragons chasing the flaming pearl.

Condition: Good condition with expected traces of wear and a stable crack to base.
Provenance: Holzapfel collection, Geneva, Switzerland. This lot was acquired by second generation members of the Holzapfel family after 1970 and has remained in the family ever since.
