Feuille d'éventail à décor d'un oiseau posé sur une branche de cerisier en fleurs. Encre de Chine et couleurs sur papier à fond or. Signé en idéogrammes et cachets de l'artiste Jiang Ting Xi, à gauche. Les deux cachets sont les diminutifs de l'artiste (Nan et Sha). Chine, fin XVlle-début XVllle siècle. Hommage à la manière du grand maître Bai Yang Shan Ren (Chen Chun 1483-1544) artiste de la Dynastie des Ming. Jiang Ting Xi(1669-1732) était le précepteur impérial (dishi) de l'empereur Yongzheng sous la dynnastie Qing. Largeur: 53 cm. Hauteur: 18,5 cm. (Manque au milieu). - Fan decorated with a Bird Sitting on a Branch of a Blooming Cherry Tree. Ink and colour on gold leaf paper. China, late 17th?early 18th century. Ideograms and stamps by artist Jiang Ting Xi, on the left side. The two stamps are the artist’s diminutives (Nan and Sha). Width: 53 cm. Height: 18.5 cm. (Loss of material in the centre). Style in homage to the old master Bai Yang Shan Ren (Chen Chun). Jiang Ting Xi (1669?1732) published a revised and enhanced version of the world's largest printed encyclopaedia (Qinding Gujin Tushu Jicheng) 20 years after its first release. He was the imperial tutor (dishi) for Emperor Yongzheng during the Qing dynasty. Chen Chun (1483-1544) was a Ming Dynasty artist from an affluent family of erudite officials in Suzhou.
