Partially gilt silver Coin-Tankard with gilt interior Königsberg. 1705. Christian Bistram. Partially gilt silver with gilt interior. Wide foot rim with multiple indents. Inlaid in the cylindrical wall a total of 18 Silver coins, among others Danzig. Furthermore two 'coronation coins', each minted for the occasion of the coronation of Friedrich I. in Königsberg in 1701, in the center of the hinged lid and in the bottom. The ear-shaped handle with forked thumb rest, and shield. On the front, below the rim, owner engraving with date: \"C.Federowitz Ao 1771 / 4 Juny\". On the top of the lid inscription: \"Regina Sahmin Wittil Gebohr. Kaeyserin (?) 1706 15th Febri\" / \"Anna Dorothea : Fischerin : geb : Offin : Ao 1744 d. 13 Martii\". Ca. 630g. Height 16cm. Inspection mark Königsberg (Czihak East Prussia No.2), year letter R for 1705, test mark, maker's mark Christian Bistram (from 1701, died 1738, ibid. No.292). Prussian tax stamp. The size and the inscriptions of this beaker indicate that it was intended to be a ladies' mug.
