Attributed to Annibale Carracci (Bologna, 1560 – Rome 1609) "The Assumption of the Virgin Mary" Ink, sanguine and chalk drawing. Apocryphal signature "Carrache" possibly added by a former collector. 32,5 x 21 cm. The composition of the drawing has similarities with the Assumption of the Virgin kept in the Museo del Prado.  The tomb appears to be a lightly sketched outline of the same one, and so do the columns which appear to the left.
