Large embossed copper processional crucifix with gilt residue. Limoges. Gothic. Circa 1300. The top and bottom end in fleurs de Lis and preceding these are rosettes affixed to the cross with cabochons inside, four of which remain. In the centre the figure of Christ is affixed. The surface has engraved decoration of flowers and geometrical friezes. The back of the cross has an engraved image of Christ giving blessing and foliage decoration. Christ´s left hand is broken. Cross measurements: 52 x 30,5 cm. Christ length: 15,5 cm.
