A bride is the woman who is about to get married or newlywed. An Indian wedding varies from state to state with the simultaneous variations in the shringara of the bride. This painting of the Indian bride is done in utmost perfection in a vintage color combination, but, highlights even the slightest expression of her beauty with the sharp brown eyes and that little curve of her dark lips confused in the mix of sorrow of leaving her family and excitement of starting a new phase of life. _x000D_The artist has given a beautiful contrast to the dull background and skin by a pink dupatta that covers her head as a symbol of passing from the protection of one’s household to another.
