Arabic calligraphy is the artistic practice of handwriting and calligraphy based on the Arabic alphabet. In this painting Kailash Raj beautifully etches the exotic and foreign language into known shapes that not only have a long-lasting effect on the mind but even the soul. The diacritics work their way out to define the dialect as they twitch to spell 'Bismillah' which means 'in the name of God' in English.
