A 17th century carved wood and polychrome decorated figure of Saint Francis of Assisi, his flowing robes gilt decorated with flowers and leaves, the saint holds a book in his left hand and stands on a naturalistic base, Italian or Spanish, 43.2cm high. Provenance: Purchased from Lansborough Ltd. in 1961 for £95.00. Property from the collection of Monty and Barbie Passes.
