TIRION, I. Nieuwe en beknopte hand-atlas. Bestaande in eene verzameling van eenige der algemeenste en nodigste landkaarten; alle in de Nederduitsche taal (...) opgesteld. Amst., I. Tirion, 1744 (= after 1769). (3) lvs. W. 109 double-p. maps (numbered according to index 1-112), all cold. by hand. Cont. hcf. bind. w. speckled sides, spine in compartments and w. black ti.-label w. gilt lettering "Handatlas". (Bind. a bit worn/dam. in places (espec. corners and spine ends), some minor staining to upper blank margin in places). Clean copy of this atlas in fine contemporary colouring. Maps dated as early as 1744 and as late as 1769. A hand coloured title-page of Blaeu's 'Theatrum Orbis Terrarum' (edition 1635) has been added (laid down on the first free endpaper, preceding the title page of Tirion). - Koeman III, Tir 4 (with the title-p. of Koeman III, Tir 2).
