The Baptist shown frontal, half-length, with large outstretched wings and a punched halo, holding a staff with cruciform finial and carrying an open scroll. His face rendered delicately with earthen colours. His brown dishevelled hair defined by wavy lines, the raiment of skins painted blue, the saint's himation green with white folds. Seine Fluegel sind in Rot mit goldenen Strahlen gestaltet. Sein Inkarnat ist in Braun und Beige modelliert. Seine rechte Hand haelt er segnend erhoben, waehrend er in seiner linken Hand einen Kreuzstab und eine geoeffnete Schriftrolle haelt. Substanzverluste, punktuelle Retuschen.
