dating: First half of the 19th Century provenance: Southern Italy, Long and wide, straight, single-and short false-edged blade, with inscription 'OTTAVIO MASCIONE DA', and, on the other side 'GIOVANNI GIURA' among the hunting scenes and floral motifs, tang signed 'B. TERZAN'. Octagonal, iron knot. Horn grip with angled pommel and silver ring-nut. Leather scabbard with smooth, silver mounts. length 51.5 cm.
