dating: First half of the 19th Century provenance: Italy, Strong, single-edged blade, with hollow tip, base chiselled with a deer and lion in high-relief on a grained ground, finest floral carvings between the back and central groove. Horn grip with silver mounts, engraved with floral and geometrical motifs. Leather scabbard (signs of use), with white metal mounts, engraved with geometrical motifs. length 35.5 cm.
