dating: 17th Century provenance: Southern Germany, Octagonal, rifled, 12 mm cal. barrel, with remains of original finishing, rear and fore-sight; long, external wheel-lock with remains of engravings, dragon-shaped cock with remains of engravings, spring chiselled with floral motifs, sliding, snap pan cover, small engravings inside; beautiful, wooden, full stock, richly inlaid with bone and mother-of-pearl plates, depicting hares, hounds, hunter, lion, dragons, angels, mystic animals, floral motifs, hop and lists.
