Saint Jerome. Carved wooden sculpture with polychrome residue. Flemish School. Gothic. Late 15th century. One of the four great Doctors of the Church, anchorite, cardinal, protégé of Pope Damasus I, etc. Depicted wearing cardinal´s vestments and hat, accompanied by the docile lion from the legend. Height: 88 cm.
