Seat of Wisdom (Sedes Sapientiae). Carved and polychromed wooden sculpture. Cerdaña. Romanesque. 13th century. Mary sits on her throne of glory, holding the long tunic which falls from her left shoulder in her left hand. She wears a veil and a crown. The Child is also crowned. The polychrome has been touched up and parts of Mary´s crown were added later. Height: 46 cm.
