The engraved frontispiece (portrait of Elizabeth Petrovna) was made in a black manner (mezzotint) by Johann Stenglin based on the original by Louis Caravaque. The engraved title page is reproduced in gothic type. 49 engraved illustrations and plans (engravings by G.A. Kachalov, I.A. Sokolov, H.- A.Vortman ) and 3 engraved with vignettes in the text, made by the artist I.A. Sokolov. All drawings were made by the painter I.E.Grimmel on the subjects of the coronation ceremony, the images of imperial attire and regalia. Full set of illustrations.
